Anatomy of a Forex Trader

I was reading in one of the forums that I follow, and I found an interesting infographic. I want to share it, because always is good to know that are doing your colleagues, and more, if we consider the context in which this profession is developed.

If Forex trading is the "wild west" of trading, then Forex traders are the cowboys. Forex traders are comfortable with high risk, long sleepless nights, caffeine and computer screens that flash continuously.

Here is an infographic with statistics about traders in the Forex market. These are the features that make our community unique . Something to note is the number of traders operating from home ! 84 % do it so, the lifestyle of trading in movement, imposed by all tools that are allowing ( iPhones, laptops, iPads, etc. ). Here we note that the trading is much more than making money, it is also a way of life.

Another important statistic is on education and experience, over 77% of Forex traders are novice (less than 5 years in trading).

Also important to note, the automatic trading growth, in 2010 automatic trading systems already moved 45% of the market.
